Introduction to the website.
Hello and welcome to my website :)
Please note that this introduction page was last updated on the 25th of September 2024, therefore it is possible layout and design of the site have changed and will continue to. Yet this page is perfect to start with and get an overall idea of how this website is built, enjoy and if there are any additional questions please contact: the-sunny-side-up-1@ghost.io
This first bit is pretty self-explanatory. When you’ve landed on the homepage, you’ll notice 4 buttons in the main navigations menu (above the image):
Home, About, Contact, Privacy Policy.
Click on any of these and you’ll be taken directly to the corresponding page. Again very self-explanatory.
Back on the homepage, when you scroll down there are another 5 buttons for you to click on and explore.
As a member you can view posts of different categories depending very much on your interest. These 4 building on each other categories are also called tags and here I will explain them really quick.
Character development includes all the posts helping you to uncover and discover the different sides of your personality. If you want to make it clear to others who you are and life an authentic lifestyle, you should be clear yourself too. Example posts would be: Authenticity
Expanding is what I call the change you make on a psychological basis, the things nobody else notices, because they happen almost entirely on the inside. If you want to make actual visual change, you should start on the inside first, or else there‘s nothing to support it. Example posts would be: Letting go of attachment
Embracing is the counterpoint of expanding, it‘s entirely visual change, the things everybody else notices and is able to see. Yet you need the one thing for the other. Embracing something that isn’t there is pointless. That’s why you should start with expanding first. Example posts would be: Expressing personality in your look & Finding a hobby that is right for you
Key element is the probably most interesting and important category. As key-elements I describe the concepts and skills that are absolutely essential for any form of change you seek to make. These posts offer a base you can build up on and adjust to your liking. They’re the start of something phenomenal
Useful skills includes many of the useful skills everybody wishes they knew, all summed up here for you. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking to organise your time right, be more certain of what your goals are or want to know what it is that is holding you back from making them a reality, you can give the posts under this tag a quick read for more clarity; when- and wherever you feel like it.
Incase you want to read through one specific category you can easily type in the corresponding tag (Embracing, expanding, useful skills, key element, character development) into the search bar on the homepage. This also works for specific posts, just type in the title of the post you are looking for and it will appear on your screen seconds later.
Please note:
Not all posts are meant for everyone, there are posts open to the public, ones that are exclusive to all subscribers (free or paid) and the ones only enabled for those with a premium subscription. As a free subscriber you will also get previews of premium posts, so don’t let the (premium) at the end of headings scare you, you can still click on it and read the short description ahead of all posts!! Then you can decide if you want to upgrade to premium to get access to all posts and be added to the premium emailing list. I also want to make it possible for free subs to buy single posts that interest them from a range of 5-7$ each, sadly this is not an option yet! Work in progress
